Chelsea are ontop the Premier League table heading into Saturday’s early kick-off at the King Power Stadium against Leceister City, Leicester haven’t made the best of starts to the new season in EPL and could really do with a win this weekend against chelsea to top them into the top half and possibly into the European places at the end of the season.
Leicester vs Chelsea: Stats
Both Team to Score
Both Leceister and Chelsea have have scored in three of the last six meetings in all competitions, and we’re predicting same this weekend. Five of the host’s last six outings in EPL and cup have ended with both teams getting on the scoresheet.
Over 2.5 Goals
When these two sides last meet, Chelsea won 2-1 winners at Stamford Bridge and we’re expecting to see at least three goals or more scored in this weekend as well. Three of Leicester’s last six matches have produced over 3goals plus and three of Chelsea’s last six games have also produced at least three goals, including that 7-0 win over Norwich last month.
Vardy to Score
Jamie Vardy has made a good start 2021/2022 EPL season, netting a total of 7-goals in the EPL alone. He also has more league goals than any other Chelsea player this season and with Lukaku and Werner both injury doubts for Saturday’s game, we’re backing Vardy to get on the scoreboard once again.
Chelsea’s home game against Burnley started well with Havertz opening the scoring in the 33rd-minute and the home side heading in at the break 1-0 up. However, Vydra popped up with a 79th-minute equaliser to claim a point for Burnley and Chelsea had to settle for a draw m
