Arsenal Poised to Upload Upto 5 Players in January

Arsenal are reportedly planning to do away with no fewer than five players in the coming January transfer window.

The Gunners have enjoyed a revival of late under Mikel Arteta in recent weeks but are still expected to be active in the January market in 2022

A number of players will see their contracts expire in the summer of 2022 and 2023 and could seek for greener pastures, and Arsenal are supposedly keen to sell to recoup some loses.

According to football.london, Alexandre Lacazette, Mohammed Elneny, Bernd  Leno are among the senior players who could be on their way out soon due to limited playing time.

The report further adds that Eddie Nketiah, Sead Kolasinac and Folarin Balogun could also seek an opportunity to play in a other club, with the latter admitting lately that he would be open to test himself elsewhere.

Nketiah, Elneny and Kolasinac are also due to become free agents at the end of the current EPL campaign, while Leno’s deal expires in 2023.
